Ebay iPhone Email Address, who buy it?

Sunday, July 1st, 2007

When I was searching at eBay I try to look if there were iPhone unlocked and maybe I will bought before it arrives to Mexico. I think iPhone is a great option but here are trying to sell in MercadoLibre.com.mx (ebay cheap clone) for $1,000 and they will order your iPhone after you pay which is a fool action.

So I try with the search: “unlocked iphone” and the results were a lot of free email address with iphone word in there, surely if there is a iphone@site address could reach some attention, but with a lot of words they were only trying to get some free money. What impress me more is a site reporting there is a $610 winning offer:

Rectangles Intersection

Friday, June 22nd, 2007

In my school days I did this calculation, but today I didn’t figure how to do it.

The calculation is simple: find if two Rectangles overlap or intersects; this is done through checking their boundaries. I’ve found this page: http://www.tekpool.com/?p=24 which show the calculation. As I had to do it in MySQL (for a simple problem otherwise I will be using MySQL GIS extensions =) ) I’d rewrite the calculation using De Morgan Laws for a cleaner code.

Top Ten Considerations for Choosing a Server Virtualization Technology

Monday, June 4th, 2007

I’ve got this paper through JupiterWeb.com email, this white paper deals with a basic information on Virtualization Technology (of course talking a bit more about their product Virtuozzo), it contains introductory terms about virtualization.

The only problem is they had an error on last page not showing the checklist of the features of each solutions.

You can read the White Paper here:

You can read more White Papers about virtualization in this site (requires registration):

coLinux Debian Etch Image

Friday, May 4th, 2007

I’ve using coLinux from about a year ago and I’m very impressed, but recently I had to use a lot of features of the newest Linux distros; the most used image in coLinux is the Debian Image, but that is the stable (sarge) and now is old in packages, the newest is Etch.

I tried several times to install from debian net install iso but I couldn’t, there were some tutorials but none of them were helpful, and I tried again to search debian etch on coLinux and I found a link to a mailing list:

http://www.nabble.com/Where-is-Debian-Etch-Root-Image–t3588257.html

In this page you will find a link to a small Debian Etch image you can download and is ready to use, create a bigger image and install all your packages and you will be as happy as me =).
